We`re thrilled to announce that the Salt Lake City Fire Department Heavy Rescue Team has clinched victory in the inaugural Heavy Rescue Competition! ๐ Over two intense days, they tackled six challenging rescues, outshining seven local and out-of-state teams. Led by Captain Will Mackintosh, supported by HRT techs Brian Davidson, Jesse DiYanni, Johnathon Scott, Daniel Harris, and Jaime Mackintosh, they`ve not only shown incredible skill but also heart.
Their win means a $10,000 donation from Marathon to the U of U burn unit in their honor. ๐๐ฅ
2nd and 3rd place earned a combined $5k from Silver Eagle Refinery and Chevron. With the raffle and cash donations, the event earned over $20k for the U of U Burn Center.
